Family was offered this and told was safe to eat. Turns out it wasn’t safe to eat and they spent the night at the ER. What is it?

Top Comment: Country/region? I'm going to go with paxillus involutus (brown roll-rim) that might have been confused for one of the lactarius sp.. Paxillus involutus is toxic and the level of toxicity apparently varies around the world and can be deadly toxic. If it had been a lactarius sp., then only a few are worth eating. A few others are toxic but not deadly.

Top Comment: That’s a shame, I like having little places like that to sit for a while. I hope they do something useful with that space, then.

Best dine-in pizza restaurant for a family?
Main Post:
Yeah yeah I know, another question about the best pizza. But this one is a bit different, I think. And I searched for this but couldn’t find much recent.
What are some good places to sit down and share a few pizzas with the family, including younger kids? We are talking somewhere low key, plenty of seating, unpretentious, and moderately priced. Would prefer a non-chain, but something like an old-style Pizza Hut might scratch the itch. Open to anywhere within 10 miles or so of the city. Thanks!

It’s a bit of a hike from the city, but I always like sit-down pizza at Juliano’s (not sure what burb it’s technically in...it’s close to Robinson). Tasty pizza, reasonable prices, and not pretentious in the least. The dining room is kinda small, but still plenty of room for families. I’ve made the trek with my young kiddos several times and they were always very accommodating.
